Reflection on the BDRRM activity Interview with official in charge with the BDRRM When I planned this interview with the barangay official/s I was expecting to learn more about disaster preparedness of the smaller units of community in the country. It is because most of my knowledge regarding disaster preparedness is for the whole country and/or whole cities, I do not know much when it comes to smaller community units such as barangays. From the interview, I noticed that they really did a good job on scanning their area and looking for potential hazards when a natural calamity comes to their place. They know which places are the most flood-prone when there is a heavy downpour of rain. They also have the knowledge of where it would be more dangerous if an earthquake would hit because the area is near an active fault. This is in Brgy. Ugong Pasig which is near the West Valley Fault.
